School Facilities

Summary of Most Recent Site Inspection

LCICS moved into its new facility on Armstrong Street in August of 2006.  In September of 2006 it received a temporary Certificate of Occupancy.  In the summer of 2007 LCICS purchased a 3000 sq foot facility directly across the street from its current location.  We are presently completing the interior renovation to convert the building into classrooms to house our kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade classes, as well as a library/media center.  Our anticipated date of occupancy is currently on or about February 1, 2008.  LCICS has also updated its current facility by opening a doorway to the play yard for easier access to the bathroom facility, which includes a handicapped lift, as well as building a roof over our lunch area.

Repairs Needed

We are presently completing the interior renovation to convert the building into classrooms to house our kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade classes, as well as a library/media center.  Our anticipated date of occupancy is currently on-or-about February 1st 2008. This will allow LCICS to leave its temporary location across the street at the Methodist Church where the 1st and 2nd grade classes are currently housed.

LCICS has also updated its current facility by: renovating its administrative complex - opening a doorway to the play yard for easier access to the bathroom facility, which includes a handicapped lift, as well as building a roof over our lunch area.

Corrective Actions Taken or Planned

We anticipate occupying our new facility on or about February 1st 2008.  This will allow LCICS to leave its temporary location at the Methodist Church where the 1st and 2nd grade classes are currently holding classes.
